An-Nadaa Educational Foundation, together with your support, is arranging udhiya/qurbani of cows this Eid ul Adha.
We are fulfilling all Islamic principles and requirements as per shariah. The meat will be distributed to the most poor and deserving families in and around Zaria, Nigeria. The price of full cow is 1001 USD (4704 RM) and the price of each share of cow is 143 USD (672 RM)
There are many Muslim communities in and around Zaria that are very poor and are in dire circumstances. The lack of opportunities there provides them with little to no means of livelihood. Even if they do find work, the salaries are astonishingly low (less than 5 USD per MONTH). For these people, finding sustenance is a challenge in and of itself and, with their non-existent to meager earnings, a good meal (like meat) is a luxury most have rarely experienced. Therefore, your contribution in udhiya for these people will be a source of huge relief and great joy for them, especially on this auspicious occasion of Eid.
Since 2017 An-Nadaa has been performing Udhiya services in Nigeria for donors all over the world and distributing the meat to the poor. AlhamduLillah this project has brought relief and happiness to the communities in Zaria and surrounding areas. This year, once again, An-Nadaa will be arranging udhiya (slaughtering) of cows. Those who wish can donate to An-Nadaa and get their udhiya performed in Nigeria. Not only will your udhiya be done in accordance to Islamic principles, we will also ensure that the meat will be distributed among the poor and deserving people in Zaria and its surrounding villages.
The reward of helping and feeding the poor. Allah says in the Qur’an,
And they give food, inspite of their love for it (or for the love of Him), to Miskin (poor), the orphan, and the captive(8),
(Saying): "We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you." (9)
"Verily, We fear from our Lord a Day, hard and distressful, that will make the faces look horrible (from extreme dislikeness to it)."(10)
So Allah saved them from the evil of that Day, and gave them Nadratan (a light of beauty) and joy. [Al-Insan(76): Verses 8-11]
It was narrated from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“The best of deeds is making the believer happy, such as covering his ‘awrah, satisfying his hunger or meeting his need.” Narrated by al-Tabaraani in al-Mu’jam al-Awsat, 5/202; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 2090
The meat is not distributed arbitrarily to anyone who inquires about it. It is only after careful research and proper verification, a list is formed of those who are the most needy. The preparation of this list is done with a lot of care so that meat reaches those who are genuinely deserving. Three methods are used by An-Nadaa to identify them:
All the money received by An-Nadaa for this project will be used for the below
If there is any amount left after the project is completed then this amount will be utilized for the construction of male ward in An-Nadaa hospital (details of project at https://an-nadaa.com/hospital)

As you have trusted An-Nadaa to perform udhiya for you and to fulfill this responsibility with full Amaana (trust), we require some information. As one may know, the udhiya is valid only if performed after the Eid prayer and three days following the Day of Eid. In Nigeria, Eid will most likely be on 16 June (exact date will be confirmed once moon of dhul Hijjah is sighted) and some of you might be in a country where Eid falls on 17 June or the time zone difference might be such that you finish Eid prayers when it’s night time in Nigeria. Keeping this in mind, do let us know where you will be celebrating Eid by dropping us an email on [email protected]. For any donations received without confirmation, the udhiya will be performed on the third day of Eid (18 July).
When doing a direct transfer we need our donors to send us an email detailing the purpose of the donation and a proof of transfer especially if it's for Zakat purpose. Contact information can be found here.
