The Need

Access to safe water is a challenge throughout developing countries and Nigeria is no exception. There are many communities that lack access to their own source of water, forcing them to travel long distances for water that is often contaminated and unfit for human consumption.

What we are doing?

The support and welfare of communities being at the heart of our vision and mission at An-Nadaa, we have taken up this challenge to provide safe water by building wells for underprivileged communities.

To date, An-Nadaa has built more than 90 wells. This was only possible through Allah’s blessings and then your financial support. Our aim is for the entire nation to have access to safe water.

What you can do?

Our current logistical and operational arrangements have made it possible for us to build each well for USD 2,500 only. Support us through your donations so that together we can achieve this dream of bringing safe water to communities across the country. Your support will go a long way toward helping us continue with this project.

The USD 2,500 costing includes:

Testing the availability of water and its quality. This in turn helps us in selecting appropriate locations for our wells Digging of the water borehole Installation of the manual pump

From a sound hadith narrated by Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) and included by Sheikh al-Albani in his book Sahih al-Targheeb, the Prophet (ﷺ) informed us that digging a well is one of the acts for which the reward will continue, even after our death.
